The HSE's Factory Inspectors have the powers to issue prohibition notices for closing areas, buildings and entire sites. Remember, they have more and further reaching powers than the Police.

Companies can be fined an unlimited amount, and individuals up to £20,000.

Responsible persons can receive prison sentences for up to 2 years.

Directors of the Company can be disqualified.
